A card and an ATC

I made the card above using my Carte Postale set and Leaves a la carte wheel.
Cardstock is Old Olive, Chocolate Chip and Close to Cocoa.
Sentiment is from Starring You and DSP is Holiday Treasures.

This is an ATC I made using SU inks as my background - I blended Sage Shadow and Old Olive inks . I stamped the "distant" foliage on top using Old Olive and Mellow Moss inks, then I used black Stazon ink and then Versamark with white embossing powder for the white image.

I haven't done much crafting this week - work has been very busy and my sister is staying for a while so we are eating chocolate and drinking wine most evenings. Yum.

We went to see the Strictly Come Dancing Tour in Sheffield last night. It was brilliant, and Julian Clary was VERY funny.

Bye for now . x

Office Accoutrement Mini Book

I always seem to lose the notes of important birthday and anniversary dates because I either write them on my calendar and throw it away at the end of the year or use little scraps of paper which I then lose, so i decided to make a book to keep those dates safe.
I have used Office Accoutrement and the swirl from Baroque Motifs along with the Round Tab Punch. I also used various double sided papers , scallop circle and square punches and earth elements cardstock and inks to decorate the pages.

I also used the quarter inch square punch to punch out my letters for the cover. With hindsight I think I should have mounted the squares on Old Olive or Chocolate Chip squares but I will do that later.

The month labels are created using non SU stuff but the memo tag is Office Accoutrement again.

Should be prepared now as long as I don't lose my book! LOL!

Birthday Cards

Top Card : Elegant Eggplant, Rose Red and Black cardstock. Stamp set is Seeing Spots, Ink is Rose Red.
The glitter cardstock is by Doodlebug and sentiment is from Craftwork Cards coloured with glimmer mist.

Bottom card is for my dear sister (who loves brown, like me!). Cardstock used is Close to Cocoa and Chocolate Chip, patterned paper is Spiced Cider.
Glitter cardstock is Doodlebug, sentiment is Craftwork Cards tinted with glimmer mist.
Lace - unknown source, found it in my ribbon box.

Craving some Chocolate Chip.

But not chocolate chip cookies! (Although on second thoughts, go on then....)
I made this card last night and after it was assembled I thought it was a bit "lacking". Then it came to me - the main image and sentiment both need to be mounted again on chocolate chip cardstock, but I love chocolate chip so much that I have used it all!
Never mind, that's my next shopping list started - as if it wasn't started already! Who am I trying to kid? LOL!
I love all the Stampin' Up! colour ranges but the Earth Elements are my favourite.
Other products used are Pocket Silhouettes stamp set, Close to Cocoa, Creamy Caramel and Certainly Celery cardstock.
